Money is a fascinating subject. I want to see more people achieve financial prosperity. In my line of work, I meet a diverse range of people, from janitors to billionaires. What consistently piques my interest is observing the various strategies and mindsets people employ.
Today, I’d like to share with you a technique that can help you boost your income. My clients and I have tested it, and the results have been extraordinary. I’m offering it to you as a means to pave your way to financial success!
The “How to Have More Money” Technique
Begin by jotting down your top 10 associations with money. What does money represent for you? For example, for me, money symbolizes freedom, beauty, travel, creativity, personal time, quality family time, enjoyment, and life’s wonders. Your associations may differ, so simply record what comes to mind.
Elaborate on what each term means to you specifically. For instance, for me, freedom equates to the ability to work or not work, setting my own schedule, and having no bosses or rigid working hours. Beauty translates to having stylish attire, strolling down picturesque streets, and appreciating the world’s beauty. Similarly, provide detailed descriptions for every association you’ve listed.
Reflect on whether you’re currently living in alignment with these concepts. For instance, are you allowing yourself the freedom to manage your own time and workload? Go through each point systematically, and if you find discrepancies, outline the actions you’ll take.
Conquer your fears and replace them with new empowering beliefs. Most people reach a stage where they doubt the feasibility of change, saying, “This is impossible! If I have these things, I’ll have money.” You’re absolutely right. As soon as you begin living and acting in accordance with your newfound perspectives, money will naturally flow into your life.
Consider a scenario where one of my clients desired more free time but considered it unattainable. She was working long hours daily and couldn’t change her schedule. I suggested that she propose to her boss to work two hours less while maintaining the same productivity. She rewrote her belief: “I work for 6 hours a day, and my boss is highly satisfied.”
After 30 days, she discussed this with her boss, and he agreed. After successfully working fewer hours for the same pay, she decided to seek a more fulfilling job and left the company where her career had stagnated. She found a new job that required only 3 hours of work and offered double the salary!
So, at this stage, compile a list of your fears and obstacles.
Formulate counter-beliefs that can replace your fears. Commit to repeating these new beliefs for at least 30 days. Subsequently, take actions that align with your desires, even if they challenge your comfort zone. These new actions, mindset, and beliefs will propel you toward success and an increase in your financial abundance!
